Lift Shaft – Steel Triangle-shaped Structure

We managed to install a passenger elevator into a right-angled triangle staircase.

In the block of flats, there used to be a staircase mirror already back then in 1947 with a chance of installing a lift. Nevertheless, a lift has never been installed there.

After the building’s owner changed, a reconstruction started and the idea with a lift came in 1989. There are six floors, therefore the lift would be really handy to improve the living comfort and increase the building’s and its flats’ value.

The building’s located at Na Břehu 27, Prague 9.

We installed our lift there – a passenger lift, right-angled triangle shape (dimensions 750, 1000 and 1250 mm). Load bearing capacity 320 kg, elevation up to 17.2 m or 6 floors.

Electric cable drum engine with a kinematic fixed motion.

The shaft door are hand-operated, the cabin door are automatic with BUS system.
